Complete, standardized gynecological exam training session for both breast and pelvic exam.  Curriculum covers each component of the examination. Sessions include patient-centered communication skills, as well as immediate feedback from the GTA.

Complete, standardized urogenital exam training session for male genitals (lymph nodes, penis, scrotum, testicles), hernia exam and prostate exam.  Curriculum covers each component of the examination. Sessions include patient-centered communication skills, as well as immediate feedback from the MUTA.

A specialized training session to train Forensic Examiners the clinical skills necessary when examining genitals in a post-assault forensic exam for SAFE and SANE trainees.  This may involve GTAs, MUTAs and Trans TAs and is done in conjunction with Forensic Exam training (typically a 40-hour course of training) and may involve separate instructional sessions as well as "scenario" sessions for more of a role-play session while the trainees are practicing the Forensic Evidence Collection Kit.  Please contact us for more details, as this can largely be tailored to the needs of your program.

We are often asked to provide presentations or workshops to larger groups of students, and will happily discuss your needs.  The topics of these have ranged from general communication skills between healthcare practitioners and their patients to interacting with the LGBTQ community to conversations with patients following a sexual assault. Our field is, generally, how to have effective communication with patients when the conversations might be awkward, stigmatized or emotionally difficult.  Please let us know if there are topics for presentations or workshops you are interested in exploring and we can discuss further.
